Tell us Clarksburg Plumbing’s story.
Katie and Jr established Clarksburg Plumbing in 2008, building on the legacy of JR’s father, who owned Haines Mechanical from 1984 to 1990 and served as a plumbing inspector for two decades. JRs father, Gary, instilled high standards, and his teachings greatly influenced the Clarksburg Plumbing team. JR learned plumbing from him at a young age. In 2005, Katie and her husband met, married in 2007, and welcomed twins in 2010. Facing the expense of childcare for twins, Katie joined the family business, taking on various roles. After passing plumbing and gasfitter exams, Katie applied for and received approval from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission to use her great grandfather’s plumbing license number (#140).

The community! Our purpose, mission and vision all center around our amazing community! We are so proud to be a part of this vibrant community and give back.

We want to encourage our community to flow through plumbing!
What do you want Clarksburg Plumbing to be known for?
We are one of the only plumbing companies in the area that offers trenchless solutions. We specialize in CIPP (Cured-in-place pipe restoration), Pipe bursting and boring pipe repair. Our goal is to provide the best solution for your home.

We’ve partnered with Rebuild Frederick to help a few homeowners in our area with plumbing issues.
WIT – Women in Trades (new initiative in the Frederick community to encourage women of all ages to explore opportunities in these fields.) Katie, our CEO and Master Plumber and Gasfitter is on the board.
The Blue- Collar Project: To educate and advocate for the next generations into the trades.

What does Clarksburg Plumbing do best?
