ACNB Bank traces its roots back to the year 1857 in Gettysburg, PA. Over the years, ACNB has grown thoughtfully and intentionally, expanding into Maryland while staying true to its community banking mission. Our Frederick presence reflects that same purpose: supporting local residents, businesses, and organizations with exceptional personalized service and a genuine investment in our community’s success.
What do you like most about being a business in Frederick?
Frederick has an incredible sense of community, collaboration, and pride. There’s a strong network of local businesses, nonprofits, and residents who truly support one another. Being part of a city that values both its history and its growth make Frederick a great place to do business and an even better place to build long-term relationships.
Why did you join the Chamber?
We joined the Frederick Chamber of Commerce to connect with other local businesses, support economic development, and stay engaged in what’s happening throughout the Frederick community. The Chamber plays an important role in bringing people together, and we’re proud to be part of the Frederick Chamber family.
How has being a member of the Chamber benefitted ACNB?
Chamber membership has helped us develop and build meaningful relationships with other local organizations, increase awareness of ACNB Bank in the Frederick market, and stay connected to community initiatives and events. It’s also provided opportunities for collaboration that align with our mission of supporting local growth. Members of our team proudly volunteer with the Frederick Chamber to include the Board, numerous committees and participation in LFC and other focused initiatives.

Community involvement is a core part of who we are! ACNB Bank proudly supports and partners with local nonprofits, community organizations, and events throughout Frederick County. Our team volunteers time, participates in local initiatives, and supports causes focused on education, health, housing, and overall community well-being. Another cool fact … ACNB uniquely offers Frederick County non-profits the opportunity to creatively highlight their services and mission in the ACNB Bank Community Window located on the corner of Patrick and Market Street in Downtown Frederick.
Do you have any interesting events or exciting promotions coming up?
ACNB Bank brings smiles (and treats) to Frederick County with our new ice cream van- proudly showing up at community events as “the coolest bank” in town.

We are also excited to share that ACNB Bank is coming back as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2026 season of Alive @ Five, which supports the great work of the Downtown Frederick Partnership.
