The Simplicity Secret is focused on personal and professional development through coaching, training, and speaking. Stephanie works with business owners and entrepreneurs who want to grow without the constant hustle—people who are ready to build success in a more intentional, aligned way. She also works with teams and organizations that invest in personal and professional development, helping them strengthen communication, build confidence, and apply practical, actionable strategies that create real results. As a speaker, Stephanie focuses on motivation and taking action—helping people move from insight to implementation and actually make changes in their lives and work.
Stephanie truly believes you can only grow yourself—and your business—as far as you’re willing to develop yourself. Because of that, her work goes beyond surface-level motivation or strategy. It’s about helping people create real internal shifts that lead to meaningful external change. Whether she’s speaking to a room, facilitating a workshop, or working one-on-one, her goal is the same: to help people recognize what they’re capable of and take action toward it—especially when it comes to stepping into confidence, breaking through limiting beliefs, and doing what they’ve been putting off.

A conversation with Stephanie Bidle, Owner and Founder
Tell us your business origin story!
I was pretty happy in my Human Resources career… until, well, I wasn’t.
I started feeling unfulfilled in my job, and if you looked through my journals from that time, you’d see the same thing written over and over again. I knew I needed a change, but I had no idea what that change looked like or how I was going to make it happen. I just knew I couldn’t keep doing what I was doing. So, I hired a coach, which completely transformed my life.
She helped me work through what I was feeling and opened my eyes to what was possible. At one point, she asked if I had ever considered starting a business or becoming a coach. My response was something along the lines of, “Maybe someday… I don’t know,” and I didn’t think much of it at the time.
A few months later, I found myself reflecting on how much coaching had changed my own life. That’s when it hit me: I want to help people the way my coach helped me. So I started taking steps toward building a business. Then, a few months later, I attended a conference and heard a speaker talk about “un-muting” yourself. The message hit me hard. I realized how much I had been holding myself back and playing small. (Thank you, Rachel Drunkenmiller—you are awesome.)
During the session, she tossed a ball into the audience and asked, “What’s one thing you’re going to do this year to change your life?” My hand shot up. I stood in front of the entire conference and announced that I was going to quit my job. Thankfully, no one from my employer was in the room. Three days later, I resigned. Three weeks after that, I was gone. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I started The Simplicity Secret because I believe people are capable of so much more than they give themselves credit for. Whether I’m helping someone gain confidence, develop as a leader, overcome limiting beliefs, or finally take action on a dream they’ve been putting off, my goal is always the same: to help people realize their potential, believe in themselves, and create a life they’re genuinely excited about.

What do you like most about being located in Frederick County?
I absolutely love Frederick County. I was born and raised in Middletown, so this has always been home for me. I feel incredibly fortunate to have built my business and continue living in the community that helped shape me.
One of the biggest reasons I’m where I am today is Leadership Frederick County. It truly started me on the path to entrepreneurship and opened my eyes to what was possible. The relationships, encouragement, and opportunities that came from that experience gave me the confidence to take the leap and start my own business. Frederick is full of people who support each other’s growth and success, and I’m grateful to be part of such a special community.
What makes The Simplicity Secret Unique?
What makes my business unique is that I combine depth with fun. Personal and professional growth don’t have to feel heavy or overwhelming. While knowledge, strategy, and self-awareness are important, I believe people learn and grow best when they enjoy the process. Whether I’m coaching individuals or facilitating workshops, I create experiences that are insightful, engaging, and actionable. My goal is to help people make meaningful progress while actually having fun along the way—because growth is far more effective when people are excited to show up for it.
What do you wish people knew about The Simplicity Secret?
I wish people knew that the work I do goes much deeper than goal setting or leadership training. At the heart of it, I help people—including professionals, leaders, and business owners—build confidence so they can go after the dreams and goals they’ve been putting off, second-guessing, or talking themselves out of. A big part of my work is helping people break through limiting beliefs, self-doubt, and the internal barriers that keep them stuck, even when they are more than capable of doing what they set out to do.
The depth of the work really comes from what happens underneath the surface. It’s not just about new habits or new strategies—it’s about identity shifts, mindset work, and learning how to quiet the internal dialogue that keeps people playing small. It’s helping people recognize patterns they’ve carried for years, understand where they come from, and start choosing differently in real time.
Some of the biggest transformations I’ve seen aren’t just external achievements like promotions, business growth, or new opportunities—they’re internal shifts. People start believing in themselves more fully, trusting their voice, setting healthier boundaries, and taking action on things they once thought were out of reach. That’s the kind of depth and transformation I want my work to be known for.
Share some of your community involvement efforts!
My favorite community involvement is coaching High School Track & Field. I am currently in my eighth year of coaching at Middletown High School, and it is truly one of the most rewarding things I do. I love supporting and mentoring student-athletes, helping them grow not only in their athletic performance but also in their confidence, character, and personal development. Watching them achieve goals, overcome challenges, and realize their potential is incredibly fulfilling.
What do you do best?
What I do best is help people turn personal and professional development into real, meaningful action. Whether I’m coaching, training, or speaking, I simplify complex mindset and growth concepts into practical steps people can actually use in their everyday lives and work.
I’m known for creating real mindset shifts—helping people break through limiting beliefs, self-doubt, and the internal barriers that keep them stuck—and turning that awareness into lasting behavior change. I bring a relatable, energizing approach to my work that helps people feel comfortable being honest about where they are, while also feeling supported, motivated, and ready to take action.
Is there anything else exciting that you want the Chamber membership to know about?
Yes! I am currently launching a new course designed to help people get clear on what they want, break through the mental barriers that hold them back, and actually take action on their goals and dreams. It’s for anyone who knows they’re capable of more but isn’t quite sure what the next step looks like.
As a special offer for Chamber members, I’m providing a 10% discount on the course. I’m also exploring partnerships with local organizations that would like to bring this course or training to their employees as part of their professional development offerings. If that sounds like a fit for your team, I’d love to connect and chat about how we can work together.
