The Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland provides an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers trust each other. We help brands get discovered, convert feedback into opportunity, earn prestige and trust, and put their integrity on display.
Tell us your story!
I stepped into my role as Director of Strategic Partnerships with the Better Business Bureau Greater Maryland in May 2025 with a relationship-first mindset and a deep appreciation for the ecosystem that supports businesses. After leaving a federal career, I was intentional about continuing in public service while also exploring entrepreneurship, and BBB offered a unique space to do both. Helping businesses not only show up in their communities, but also stand out through trust and credibility.
How has being a member of the Chamber benefited your business?
Being part of the Chamber has been incredibly valuable in strengthening our connection to the local business community. Through the Chamber, we’ve built meaningful relationships, gained insight into the evolving needs of Frederick businesses, and engaged in conversations that matter to the Frederick community.
For the BBB Greater Maryland, visibility and connectivity are essential. What makes the partnership especially impactful is how it complements our mission. While the Chamber creates space for businesses to connect, grow, and advocate, BBB helps those same businesses build and showcase trust with consumers through accreditation and accountability.
What do you want your business/organization to be known for?
At the BBB Greater Maryland, we strive to be the trusted bridge between businesses and their communities grounded in our belief of “Trust, Built Locally.” We go beyond recognition to help businesses grow with integrate and give consumers confidence in their choices. Through accreditation, accountability, and strong partnerships, we serve as a connector and catalyst for building reputation, trust, and a more transparent business community.
What ways can people in the community support you?
The community can support BBB Greater Maryland by choosing BBB Accredited Businesses, using our resources to leave reviews and report scams, and helping share what we do to strengthen trust in the marketplace.
They can also support the BBB Greater Maryland Foundation by contributing to community education efforts that help consumers and businesses make more informed, confident decisions.
Each of these actions helps advance our mission of “Trust, Built Locally.”
