Meet Farm Girl Fuel
How did you get into health education and nutrition?
I was a police officer in Montgomery County for six years. An on the job accident lead to a chronic injury that eventually left me unable to meet the physical requirements of her profession. My own health and pain struggles were a driving force in taking back my health and wellbeing. After completing nutrition school, I started my business, Farm Girl Fuel, to help others feel empowered, educated, inspired and supported while on their own health journeys.
How is Farm Girl Fuel unique in the holistic health space?
My business is unique in a sense that there are not a lot of people that do what I do. There are many holistic practitioners with their own specialties, but I feel that my bio-individual approach and deep connection with clients is unique in my field and business. Getting to the root cause of what’s keeping people from living a fulfilled life in areas of nutrition but also beyond the plate. I’ve recently started adding in reiki and trauma work as well. Helping facilitate others on their own health and healing journeys.
There is a huge need for holistic wellness and healing. I strive to continue to add resources, tools and options for others to improve their health and overall wellbeing. I want to be a resource for others who are “sick and tired” of not living their best life. Helping others on their health and healing journey without the “hard.” Utilizing a holistic approach is a great way to get to the root of what’s keeping people feeling stuck, burned out, overwhelmed, full of anxiety and searching for a simple solution.
