Tell us Sun & Moon Balloon’s business origin story.
I started this business after being inspired by my young daughters, Emma and Quinn, who are my Sun & Moon. My goal is to raise strong, confident leaders and what better way to remind myself than through inspiring others with unique and beautiful balloon creations?
What do you like most about being a business owner in Frederick?
The Frederick community is incredible. The support it has for small businesses and the collaboration you see in several areas (from non-profits, to business and education) makes it a thriving community I am proud to live and own a business in.
What makes Sun & Moon Balloon unique?
We are passionate creators and woman-owned. We offer classic and organic balloon decor appropriate for all celebrations.
We don’t just offer balloons – we offer an easy, beautiful experience from streamlined ordering to excellent communication. And we are passionate about enjoying balloons responsibly.
Share some of your community involvement efforts.
We support the community through heavy involvement with Key City Rotary. We have recently sponsored events for Child Care Choices, Boys and Girls Club of Frederick County, I Believe In Me, and Platoon 22 just to name a few.
What do you do best?
We make it easy, and easy is beautiful.
Have any exciting plans on the horizon?
We are proud to bring the first Bubble House to Maryland this summer!
