As a member based organization, the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce succeeds when our members succeed. Our members are the core of our organization and without them, we wouldn’t be one of the largest and most active Chambers in the state of Maryland. Battelle National Biodefence Institute, LLC
Milestone Member: 15 years | Chamber Partner in Trust
BNBI manages and operates the National Biodefense Analysis & Countermeasures Center for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Since the inception of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center (NBACC) has developed the science critical to defend the United States against bioterrorism. NBACC is the first laboratory built for DHS – a national resource to understand the scientific basis of the risk posed by biological threats and to attribute their use in bioterror and biocrime events.
Summers Farm Inc.
Milestone Member: 15 years
Agri Tourism farm open every fall (September through early November) for homegrown fun and farm fresh adventures. Fall farm attractions include wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, sunflowers, corn maze, pig races, jumping pillows, farm animals, giant slides, rugged farmer obstacle course, and more! Delicious farm fresh food and our famous apple cider donuts. Fun for kids from 2 to 92!
