Applied Behavior and Learning Consultants
Applied Behavior and Learning Consultants offers services to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorder, Down Syndrome, and those experiencing general learning and behavioral challenges in the home, school or community. The ability to connect with other like-minded companies and individuals through networking and information sharing is a key component of the cooperative model, and we look forward to being a part of Frederick’s business community through our Chamber membership! – The Common Market Co-Op
The Common Market Co-op was founded in 1974 as a locally owned natural foods buying club operating out of a local family’s living room. Today, with two locations in Frederick and nearly 8,000 owners, The Common Market Co-op is proud to work with and support 49 local farms, 132 local businesses, and 36 community partners. This is what differentiates them from all other grocery outlets in the Frederick area, and they are very proud of this fact.
The clean and spacious stores are a great one-stop-shop for all of the items on your natural foods grocery list. Drop in for delicious food from their café and enjoy it in their sunny indoor dining area or the outside patio at both locations.
The Common Market staff strives to create a unique, educational, and interactive shopping experience for all. They carry out that commitment by offering customers a variety of workshops in the Co-op Community Room. They hold events that range from chocolate tasting to workshops on whole foods.
At The Common Market they believe in maintaining a fresh, high quality range of fairly-priced products that promote customer health and wellness, environmental and social sustainability, and localized economy. Their buyers use these criteria when seeking out products for our diverse customer base. They offer many standard brand name natural foods, but enhance that selection with a wide variety of local goods in all departments, and a variety of foods for special diet needs.
