At DCM BioServices their goal is to make sure that your lab is up and running.

The life sciences industry is doing the research, exploring the unknown, and finding the cures. Your lab is literally saving the world. If your equipment isn’t working, you can’t do that. When issues arise, the DCM BioServices well-trained staff of expert service engineers helps get you back to work fast so you can get back to your life-saving work.

As Rick Weldon, President and CEO of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce shared, “Dave May had a vision for  a company that could provide world-class engineering services and laboratory infrastructure support of bio/life sciences companies. Launched in 2011, his timing couldn’t have been more perfect, as economic development focus of the region’s leaders aligned completely with Dave’s original vision. Frederick County is the perfect place for these critical scientific ventures to grow and prosper, and DCM BioServices is an important part of that success.”

Laboratory instrument downtime is incredibly stressful for life sciences companies big and small. Lab managers and researchers have critical deadlines and broken instruments can quickly create a domino effect of problems. At DCM BioServices they offer service options for laboratory automation equipment that allow labs to catch most problems before they happen or recover quickly when they do so they can focus on their work and research without the stress of looming downtime.

The Origin of DCM BioServices

In 2011 Dave May, founder and Director of Service and Automation, realized that many laboratories were challenged to find the right partner to keep up with the demand for service of their laboratory automation equipment. That left them scrambling to find workarounds when something broke and, in some cases, waiting months for needed service.

Dave began DCM BioServices because he believed that a lab’s investment in laboratory automation equipment should last and lighten their workload, not create more stress.
