The Body Image Therapy Center
The Body Image Therapy Center is compromised of a series of facilities across the state of Maryland whose mission is to aid in the recovery and treatment of eating disorders and co-ocurring mental illness. Our facility in Buckeystown is our Residential Treatment Center, a place for those recovering from an eating disorder to recuperate in a safe and sheltered place surrounded by a caring team of professionals. Our multi-disciplinary team of licensed therapists, dietitians, and psychiatrists has been trained to treat multiple different eating disorders and other mood and thought disorders traditionally experienced alongside eating disorders, including: anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, body image and self esteem, self harm behaviors, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, as well as body dysmorphia and compulsive exercise. We are in-network with most major insurance companies to ensure ease of access and care for our guests.
