Blessed Provisions
Blessed Provisions Inc. is Frederick County’s only dedicated diaper and toiletry bank. Founded in 2025, we serve ALICE families through a Hub-and-Spoke distribution model, closing the hygiene gap for the 6,400 children under age 3 who lack consistent diaper access in our region. In less than one full year of operation, Blessed Provisions increased diaper distribution by nearly 26% and menstrual hygiene kit distribution by nearly 39% — demonstrating both growing community trust and escalating unmet need. Founded in 2025 to solve a total service vacuum in Frederick County, Blessed Provisions Inc. is the county’s only organization whose sole and exclusive focus is the operation of a professionalized diaper and toiletry bank. While other reputable organizations provide hygiene items as a secondary service to their primary missions—food security, pregnancy counseling—Blessed Provisions has built the dedicated infrastructure: climate-controlled storage, a mobile distribution unit, and the Human Essentials digital inventory platform necessary to move from emergency stop-gap aid to a sustainable, high-volume public health utility. Our Hub-and-Spoke model anchors distributions at Title I schools Frederick County Public Schools, the City of Frederick Food Bank, the Frederick County WIC office and other community based organizations—ensuring supplies reach the residents most in need. Community donation site partners including Basal Therapies & Preschool, CryBaby Cafe & Toy Library, and Common Market Co-Op generate community-sourced inventory that reduces our per-unit procurement cost.
