The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the six finalists in this year’s S.H.E. Pitch competition! Now in its sixth year, S.H.E. Pitch is a dynamic pitch competition for female entrepreneurs, designed to support both emerging and established businesses through cash prizes, non-monetary awards, publicity, and invaluable networking opportunities.
Finalists will take the stage on Wednesday, August 5th to present their business ideas to a panel of judges and a live audience, competing for prize money to help fuel their goals. The event is open to the public, and we encourage you to be part of the audience to cheer on these remarkable entrepreneurs and help select a “People’s Choice” winner!

Nurvana Femme is a women-only fitness society designed to help women feel comfortable, connected, and inspired to move consistently. Through culturally intentional programming, community, and a private women-only environment, Nurvana Femme creates a welcoming space for women who may not feel represented in traditional fitness settings. The company will initially launch through pop-up fitness experiences in the Urbana/Frederick area before opening a permanent studio. Nurvana Femme’s mission is to empower women to prioritize their well-being while building meaningful connections with one another.
