Meet St. John Regional Catholic School

SJRCS is a private school serving families in our community by delivering a strong academic foundation rooted in Catholic values and faith. Through dedicated teachers, small classrooms, and a commitment to forming the whole child, SJRCS prepares students not only for academic success, but for lives of purpose, integrity, leadership, and service.

A conversation with Brooke Hamrick, Advancement Director

Tell us your origin story!

SJRCS was founded almost 200 years ago to serve families in Frederick County who desired an education rooted in faith, academic excellence, and strong values.

Established to support local parishes and the growing community, SJRCS was created with a clear mission: to educate the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—while forming students of character, leadership, and service.

From the beginning, SJRCS has been built on partnership – between families, dedicated educators, and the wider community. Today, SJRCS continues to honor its founding purpose by preparing students not only for success in the classroom, but for lives of purpose, integrity, and leadership in Frederick County and beyond.

Is there anything else you want the Chamber membership to know about?

Our annual Spring Gala and Fall Golf Tournament are key opportunities for Chamber members to partner with SJRCS while connecting with our school and local business community. We are also now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year.
