I started my business right out of high school with a truck and $100. I wanted a farm but didn’t have a family farm, so landscaping was the next options.
What do you like most about being a business owner in Frederick County?
Helping other people and our customers with the landscaping needs.
Why did you join the Chamber?
I joined the Chamber to expand my business and make other business connections.
How has being a member of the Chamber benefited your business?
It has brought more exposure and more potential customers.
What do you want your business to be known for?
I want my business to be known for Honest and Quality. We’ve been around a long time and we take good care of our customers and employees.

We have too many to list. We support over 20 different charities and help as many as we can.
Do you have any exciting promotions or interesting events coming up?
Spring is our busiest season. We support many charity events that happen throughout the year. We have our Annual August Chamber event held at Hawkins Landscaping.
