The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the seven finalists in this year’s S.H.E. Pitch competition! S.H.E. Pitch, now in its third year, is a pitch competition for female entrepreneurs designed to give businesses both in the “idea stage” and “growth stage” cash prizes, non-monetary prizes, publicity, networking opportunities and more.
S.H.E. Pitch finalists will compete on Wednesday, August 7th in front of a panel of judges and a live audience for prize money to fuel their business goals. The competition is open to the public, we encourage you to be part of the audience that cheers on these remarkable entrepreneurs and helps us crown a “People’s Choice” winner!

IDEA STAGE:
First Sight Frederick
First Sight Frederick is a 2D/3D/4D/HD elective ultrasound studio specializing in high-quality obstetric imaging for expecting parents. We offer a variety of prenatal packages to help capture all stages of pregnancy (i.e. early gender reveals, facial imaging in the second and third trimester).
Hippy Viking
Hippy Viking is an outdoor adventure company dedicated to igniting the spirit of exploring the outdoors and connecting with nature. We offer guided hikes, kayak tours, and adventurous excursions designed to inspire a passion for recreating outside. Our diverse revenue streams include branded apparel and educational workshops. Our brand is fun, snarky, and knowledgeable. By combining unique experiences with expert guidance, Hippy Viking aims to be the go-to resource for individuals looking to explore, learn, and enjoy the great outdoors!
Kemptown Honey
Kemptown Honey is a Frederick County apiary that provides local, raw honey to Frederick and surrounding communities. Sara is looking to expand her business by using her honey and honey from other local and regional apiaries to craft a value added agricultural product, Honey Crush Cocktail & Mocktail Syrup, as well as future products.
Swirls of Frederick, LLC
Swirls of Frederick is the place for families and individuals to find their favorite customized treats including ice cream, frozen yogurt, D’Lite ™ keto ice cream, baked goods, coffee, and bubble tea! Our Grand Opening, sponsored by the Frederick Chamber of Commerce was held on the first day of summer, June 6, 2024. We are located at The Frederick Shopping Center, 1305 W 7th Street, #10, Frederick, MD 21702.
