Tell us FCPL’s story – when you started, how, why?
FCPL prioritizes the current needs of the communities we support. We continue to iterate our approach and grow as a system. Currently our strategic goals are as follows:
Expand Access: We will build on our work to simplify access by creating more expansive opportunities for the community to find and use our resources.
Build Bridges: We will cultivate enduring relationships to empower a vibrant and strong community
Spark Excitement: We will surprise and delight our community.
What do you like most about being an organization in Frederick County?
We love having branches located throughout Frederick County that support the vibrant and diverse communities that make this County unique.
Why did you join the Chamber? How has being a member of the Chamber benefited you?
The library prioritizes building bridges in our community and being a member of the Chamber allows us to support and cultivate relationships with the business community.
The library provides many programs and resources designed to support entrepreneurs and business leaders looking for professional development. The connections we’ve made through the Chamber have allowed us to connect more deeply with this community and understand their evolving needs.
