Tree Trekkers is an outdoor aerial adventure and zipline park. Climb, swing, and ZIP through the trees on 30 acres of protected forest. With 16 different trails and 8 difficulty levels there is something fun for everyone! Get off the screen and into the green with a high flying adventure in the trees. Tell us Tree Trekkers’ origin story.
The Frederick community is growing and with it comes a lot of new land development. Our mission was to create an outdoor family friendly recreational facility while keeping a forest full of trees for future generations to enjoy. Our course incorporates the forest into its design, allowing guests to observe mature tree top canopies and enjoy nature how it was meant to be.
We strive to get people off the screen and into the green! In the age of technology, it is easy to get lost in the abundance of “screens” now available. Disconnect from technology and reconnect with friends, family, nature, the outdoors, and even a little bit of exercise!
What do you like most about being a business located in Frederick County?
Part of Tree Trekkers mission is supporting other small local businesses in the community. We love being a part of the small business community in Frederick. What makes Tree Trekkers unique?
Tree Trekkers is one of the largest high ropes courses in the U.S. We have a unique design in which all our trails take off from our main start platform and go in a linear direction. Once you complete a trail you have the opportunity to return to the start platform and choose another trail. This design allows customers to choose the best difficulty levels for them and provides several trails of each difficulty level. It really is fun for everyone!
What do you want Tree Trekkers to be known for?
Tree Trekkers encourages customers to get off the screen and into the green! Disconnect from the screen and reconnect with each other. This makes our activity and park a great place for company picnics and corporate outings. We offer 4 different picnic pavilions, fire pit rentals, and ground games that can all be included in your company picnic or party.
