Maryland Road Trips provides inspiration for visiting locations throughout Maryland.Â
A conversation with Emily Dorr, Owner and Creative Director, Postern
Tell us Maryland Road Trips’ origin story.
We started during the pandemic to inspire travel within Maryland for Marylanders but as pandemic restrictions lifted, we found people from all over were using our articles as a resource for traveling to Maryland. Our content is only found online, meaning we don’t publish a printed magazine version.Â
Maryland Road Trips is a part of Postern Publishing.

We love the friendly business culture.Â
What makes Maryland Road Trips unique?
Our writers and content contributors have actually traveled to all the places we write about. They don’t just sit at their laptops researching and then write their articles, they go experience the places, stay at the hotels and B&Bs, eat and drink all the things they write about.Â
