Tell us a little bit about your organization. Can you provide an overview of your mission, key initiatives or services you provide?
Stella’s Girls educates and empowers youth to become social change agents in their communities through mentorship, leadership development, and advancing the feminist movement.
What inspired the creation of your nonprofit? Share the story behind its founding.
Our founder and CEO Kaprece James was inspired by her grandmother who was an important influence in her life through service and by her love for family.
What’s an interesting fact about your nonprofit most people don’t know?
We are located domestic and international.
How can the community support your organization?
Subscribing to our newsletter, donating, partnerships, supporting events.
Do you have any initiatives or events coming up you would like the community to know about and get involved in?
We have an upcoming free arts program coming up with our phenomenal partners The Delaplaine Arts Center. We will be advertising soon and looking for interested youth to participate. We are always looking for mentors and mentees to join our Frederick team. Please let us know if you are interested or know of anyone.
