The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the seven finalists in this year’s S.H.E. Pitch competition! S.H.E. Pitch, now in its third year, is a pitch competition for female entrepreneurs designed to give businesses both in the “idea stage” and “growth stage” cash prizes, non-monetary prizes, publicity, networking opportunities and more.
S.H.E. Pitch finalists will compete on Wednesday, August 9th in front of a panel of judges and a live audience for prize money to fuel their business goals. The competition is open to the public, we encourage you to be part of the audience that cheers on these remarkable entrepreneurs and helps us crown a “People’s Choice” winner!

Sweet Intuition
Sweet Intuition is a bakery that specializes in providing remixed classic, global, flavors in dessert form (which has now been coined as the term “Newstalgia” in the pastry and bakery world). In addition to our signature offerings, we also provide traditional global dessert offerings.

Serenity Swimming
Serenity Swimming focuses on high quality private swim lessons by providing a consistent instructor and client centered curriculum. Learning how to swim at any age provides increased safety, fitness, and fun.
Rhapsody and Renascence
Rhapsody and Renascence is a size-inclusive women’s clothing and accessory e-commerce shop that specializes in unstructured casual clothing reminiscent of the 1970s, for a more mature woman, as well as handmade
jewelry.
My Play Space Cafe
My Play Space Cafe is a unique indoor playground in Frederick County that offers a safe and engaging environment for children aged 0-5. We cater specifically to the developmental needs of young children, focusing on educational and imaginative play.

S.H.E. Week is a signature event of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee. S.H.E. Week is a week of events celebrating the Strength, Heart and Equality of women in Frederick County. S.H.E. Week 2023 will take place August 7-11.
