The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the finalists in this year’s S.H.E. Pitch competition! S.H.E. Pitch, now in its second year, is a pitch competition for female entrepreneurs designed to give businesses both in the “idea stage” and “growth stage” cash prizes, non-monetary prizes, publicity, networking opportunities and more.
A committee of seven representatives reviewed the applicant materials and were impressed by their business concepts, investment summaries and slide decks. Finalists will now compete in front of a panel of judges and live audience during S.H.E. Week on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022. S.H.E. Pitch is a community event and all are welcome to attend! Audience members in attendance at Hodson Auditorium (Hood College) will get the opportunity to vote for the “People’s Choice” Award!

S.H.E. Pitch is made possible through a partnership with the Maryland Women’s Business Center, Frederick County Office of Economic Development, City of Frederick Department of Economic Development, the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and Octavo Designs. S.H.E. Week is a signature event of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee. S.H.E. Week centers around Women’s Equality Day (August 26th) and is a week of events celebrating the Strength, Heart and Equality of women in Frederick County. S.H.E. Week 2022 will take place August 22 – 26.
