The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the semi-finalists in this year’s S.H.E. Pitch competition! S.H.E. Pitch, now in its second year, is a pitch competition for female entrepreneurs designed to give businesses both in the “idea stage” and “growth stage” cash prizes, non-monetary prizes, publicity, networking opportunities and more.

A committee of seven representatives reviewed the applicant materials and were impressed by both their business concepts and their investment summaries. Semi-Finalists are now working on their slide decks and revised/refined investment summaries. These materials will be reviewed and judged and finalists will be announced on July 18th. Finalists will have the chance to compete in front of a panel of judges and live audience during S.H.E. Week. Learn more about each of the semi-finalists in each category below.

Pitch is made possible through a partnership with the Maryland Women’s Business Center, Frederick County Office of Economic Development, City of Frederick Department of Economic Development, the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and Octavo Designs. S.H.E. Week is a signature event of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee. S.H.E. Week centers around Women’s Equality Day (August 26th) and is ​a week of events celebrating the Strength, Heart and Equality of women in Frederick County. S.H.E. Week 2022 will take place August 22 – 26.
