Celebrating Businesses in Frederick: Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings & More

Your new business, new location, new ownership, expansion, or milestone anniversary deserves a celebration in the business community and the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce is happy to be a part of making that happen. Ribbon cuttings are included at no extra cost in your Chamber membership.

A Chamber Ribbon Cutting includes:

  • Proclamations and certificates from the Frederick County Chamber, the City of Frederick (for businesses located within the city limits), County Executive and the Governor’s office
  • An announcement and invitation in the weekly Chamber email, sent to 8,000+ local professionals
  • An announcement and invitation sent to elected officials and the editor of The Frederick News-Post
  • PR tips and a list of local media contacts
  • Referrals to Chamber members for catering, party rentals, publicity, invitations, and more
  • Giant Chamber scissors and ribbon
  • Social media promotion and coverage

While we are unable to schedule ribbon cuttings at this uncertain time, we are hopeful that we will be able to get back to them soon.

Prior to the social distancing mandates implemented in March, we were able to celebrate several new businesses opening their doors during the first quarter of 2020.

We hope you take a moment to get to know them and find a way to support their continued success now and in the future.
