One service that is consistently necessary in a commuter heavy metropolitan suburb like Frederick is quality, reliable automotive service that comes at a reasonable price. Dynamic Automotive has been providing Frederick area car owners with that service for nearly 25 years.
Founded in 1995 by Jose Bueso and Lee Forman, Dynamic, as they’re known around town, has become ingrained in the Frederick community. Well known for offering great service, having the advanced technology needed to service modern vehicles, and employing some of the most well trained and knowledgeable mechanics in the county, Dynamic easily stands by their mission to enrich every customer experience through exceptional service with ease. They guarantee their work and are committed to providing honest repairs at reasonable prices. It is no wonder they were awarded “Best Auto Repair Shop in Frederick” by reader votes in The Frederick News-Post’s 2018 Best of the Best competition.
What Makes Dynamic Automotive Unique
Managing partner, Dwayne Myers, believes that what sets Dynamic Automotive apart is their commitment to education and community service, two things the executive team at Dynamic is very passionate about.
“We are devoted to the training and development of team members,” said Dwayne. “And, we believe the best way to grow our business is through community involvement,” he continued.
Both tenants are evident on their website and across their social media channels as you see the Dynamic Automotive team being actively involved with local schools, participating in fundraising events to raise money and awareness for area drug addiction and treatment programs, and attending national conferences to enhance their own knowledge of the automotive trade.
One thing that the Dynamic team is most proud of are their apprenticeship programs that allow them to grow their business and meet their customers’ needs while also giving back to the community and educating future auto professionals.
The Dynamic Difference
Inspired by the growing need to have highly educated technicians qualified to maintain and repair the vehicles of today and tomorrow, Dynamic Automotive became the first company in the state of Maryland to launch both a youth and registered apprenticeship program.
Through a partnership Dynamic started with State of Maryland DLLR and Frederick County Public Schools, Career & Technology Center, young people interested in pursuing an automotive career can begin learning the trade while still in high school. Students get paid to learn and can expect to complete the technician and mentor directed program in two years or less. For those already out of high school who are eager to get into the automotive repair industry, Dynamic’s registered apprenticeship program combines supervised, structured, on-the-job training and related technical instruction to teach apprentices the skills necessary to succeed in the automotive repair industry.
“We realized that there is a shortage of qualified technicians so we came up with a plan to solve that. We have been very passionate about the programs, eagerly spreading the word to anyone that would listen,” explained Dwayne. And, unsurprisingly, many people have. The youth program has already had several graduates, and the registered program will graduate their first apprentice in 2020, with four more on track to graduate soon after.
The program also recently received a great honor when Secretary Schulz recognized Dynamic as Apprentice Ambassadors for the State of Maryland.
Dynamic Automotive currently has four locations in Frederick County – Urbana, Libertytown, Frederick, and New Market – and recently broke ground on a soon to be completed, eight bay location across the street from their original New Market location.
They are a full-service auto repair company offering a list of services that include standard maintenance and repair services, engine and tire services, transmission repair, replacement, and service, heating and air conditioner repair, car electrical services and more. They provide fleet services for business owners and even tackle the complexities of hybrids. You can find Dynamic’s advanced level, professional technicians at all four locations and can expect the same level of reliable, quality care no matter which branch you choose to visit.
