“Fall In Love With Frederick” Electric Bike Tour
The “Fall in Love with Frederick” tour is the best way to experience Frederick, MD. Our Director of Fun will introduce you to Frederick’s rich history and famous landmarks while guiding you through the city’s most charming neighborhoods. You can sit back and enjoy the ride without having to worry about headwinds or hills. Tours last around an hour and a half and cover over eight miles.

This Sunday marks the last summer concert at Baker Park’s bandshell. The Rock & Roll Relics will be performing.

S.H.E. Week: Shift 4 Success: Plan, Power, Results
In this 45-minute seminar, women will access their power and create a pathway toward success. As your purpose-driven strength coach, Jennifer will share how she has turned around companies and provide tools for muscling up and shifting to achieve milestones, whether for a new endeavor or toward existing long-term goals. Each participant will leave with a high-level plan and next steps, a milestone planner, and power to produce results.
Participants will also have the opportunity to share current areas of concern during the Q&A following the session.
Coffee and refreshments will be served.

S.H.E. Week: Taking Your Passion To The Next Level
The program will begin with an inspiring interview with Karlys Kline, who started The Women’s Giving Circle of Frederick County in 2006. What started as a an idea has grown to a group that totals over 350 in membership and over $1,444,515 in grant funds to 47 local nonprofit organizations.
At this interactive and engaging luncheon, you will:
♦ be inspired by the Founder of the Frederick Women’s Giving Circle
♦ learn how to overcome self-defeating thinking
♦ share your own passion and vision with other supportive women
♦ create action steps to take your passion to the next level

S.H.E. Week: Frederick’s First Females
S.H.E. Week’s signature event will feature a panel of inspiring, accomplished women from Frederick County who are leading the way, navigating change and unlocking opportunities for others!
These industry trailblazers will share insights and advice about what they learned from their journeys as well as how attendees can apply that same grit and grace to excel in their career.
Panelists include:

Women’s Empowerment Social
Join the Wholistic Woman Community for something different in August! In place of our usual evening retreat in August we invite you to participate in S.H.E. Week. Attend Frederick’s First Females panel at Hood College and then join us across campus afterwards for a Wholistic Woman Social. Discuss what you learned at the panel over dessert and wine with the Wholistic Coaches and community. What’s this all about? The Women in Business Committee of the Frederick Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with various local women’s organizations and businesses will offer a collection of events designed to celebrate the Strength, Heart, and Equality of women. The Wholistic Coaching Coalition is happy to support S.H.E. Week, August 26th-30th and we invite you to do the same! The S.H.E. Week signature celebratory event will be a powerful panel of “Frederick’s First Females” who have been trailblazers in diverse industries. Panelists will share insights based on lessons learned and recommendations to apply that same grit and grace to your own journey. Held at Hood College on August 28th from 5:00-7:30, attendees will enjoy light refreshments and an opportunity to network, learn, and grow. Be sure to register for the panel as well as for the social afterwards. The after panel social is free however registration is requested for our planning purposes. Join the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee for an informal and intimate happy hour! We’re wrapping up our weeklong celebration of S.H.E. Week and women’s equality and we’re inviting all to come out and celebrate with us at JoJo’s Restaurant and Tap House to kick off the holiday weekend!
