Frederick Jazz Festival

The Frederick Jazz Festival provides Fredericktonians and visitors of all ages an opportunity to experience America’s unique musical art form in the heart of historic Downtown Frederick. The festival features Grammy and other professional artists from Frederick, Baltimore, and Washington, DC and supports the fundraising efforts of a local non-profit. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs, umbrellas, and tents! Food, craft beer, and wine available on site. Tickets available on EventBrite.

Things to do in Frederick: Summer Concerts

Summer Concert Series

Enjoy local and regional performers at these free concerts in the heart of historical Baker Park! From blues and swing groups to outstanding tribute artists, the concert series has something for everyone. In lieu of admission, canned food and cash donations will be accepted to benefit the Frederick Food Bank. 7-8:30pm.

Back by popular demand! Good Cause Yoga for only $10! This class is for all levels!

Please bring a mat and thirst quencher. We will be providing some mats, blocks and straps! In the event of inclement weather, please check the Face Book event page for class changes or cancellation. Your contributions will be benefiting a movement towards meaningful change!

The Yogamour mission is to bring the therapeutic aspects of yoga and mindfulness to survivors of trauma, marginalized communities and “in-need” populations as an adjunct therapy towards healing and self-regulation.

When attending a Yogamour POP-UP class at Sky Stage, your $10 DONATION goes to support the Heartly House.

This FREE event brings together service members, baby boomers, recently married/divorced, unemployed/underemployed, and entrepreneurs to brainstorm and design immediate, practical solutions that help reduce mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and physical stress/anxiety.

In other words, come learn how to empower and uplift your damn self!

Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

It’s the largest Independence Day celebration in Frederick County! This 4th of July tradition features two stages of entertainment along with family-friendly rides, activities, food and fireworks from Noon to Dusk in Baker Park and Culler Lake.

City parking meters and garages will be free for parking on July 4 and 5.
