Chili Cook Off

AIGA Blue Ridge is switching up our end-of-the-year social BrewBQ. Save the date for an afternoon of family-friendly fun and food. Enter your best recipe or just come to taste the best chili creations this side of the Potomac! Everyone will get to vote for their favorite chilies. We’ll have chili with all of the fixin’s, hamburgers, veggie burgers, and hot dogs for you non-chili people, ice cold drinks (including beer and wine) and prizes for the best chili in three categories: best hot n’ spicy, best vegetarian, and best overall.

Grifols Biomat USA – Frederick Community Picnic

Grifols Biomat USA – Frederick will host it’s 2nd annual Community Picnic! All are invited to attend this fun and informative event. Please RSVP to attend and plan to bring a dish to share. We provide the hamburgers and hot dogs. Except a fun-filled day with events for all ages and tours of the donor center. Ever thought about donating plasma? Staff will be on hand to answer all of your questions!

Summer Concert Series at Baker Park

Enjoy local and regional performers at these free concerts in the heart of historical Baker Park! From blues and swing groups to outstanding tribute artists, the concert series has something for everyone. In lieu of admission, canned food and cash donations will be accepted to benefit the Frederick Food Bank. 7-8:30pm.
