26th Annual Festival of the Arts

Celebrating 26 years, the Frederick Festival of the Arts invites art lovers to enjoy a showcase of the finest national artists. Vendors are hand-picked by local art enthusiasts, giving all who attend the best of quality fine art. There will be over 120 exhibitors featuring diverse mediums including jewelry, clay, painting, sculpture, metal, leather, digital, fiber, wood, photography, wood, and mixed-media. Bring the family for food, music, and exceptional art!

Friday Night Event is a free, public concert from 6-8pm featuring local favorite the Original Booze Brothers. Beer, wine and snacks available for purchase.

June First Saturday

First Saturday means all day activities, late-night shopping and dining, live music on the street, and a free trolley to guide your way! During June First Saturday, celebrate the visual and performing arts in Downtown Frederick with the Frederick Festival of the Arts, the Mother Earth News Fair and downtown’s First Saturday celebrations bringing hundreds of artists to the area!

Whether you’ve lived here for years, or you’re a first time visitor, First Saturday is a great time to discover something new about Downtown Frederick. For additional information about Downtown Frederick, stop by the First Saturday Kiosk located at the corner of Market Street and Church Street, each First Saturday from 3-9pm.

Fall in Love with Frederick Electric Bike Tour

The “Fall in Love with Frederick” tour is the best way to experience Frederick, MD. Our Director of Fun will introduce you to Frederick’s rich history and famous landmarks while guiding you through the city’s most charming neighborhoods. You can sit back and enjoy the ride without having to worry about headwinds or hills. Tours last around an hour and a half and cover over eight miles.

Participants will gain a heightened awareness of the challenges faced by those who live with dementia, and learn valuable tips and tools to improve communication and care. Using specialized gear in a safe, experiential setting, Dementia Live™ provides participants with a real-life simulation of what it might be like to live with dementia.
